Christina Nicole Pope (also professionally known as Nickie Pope) is a Kentucky-based actress, entrepreneur, and community advocate known for her work in independent film and television, as well as her leadership in grassroots fund raising and local arts support.
As an actress, Pope has appeared in a range of both indie and SAG productions, portraying characters such as Deliah in The Desperate, a reporter in The Leader, an activist in Slay, and a teacher in Red Camellia. She also appeared in the television movie Kentucky Roses as a greenhouse worker and speakeasy patron. She is slated to appear as a bar patron in the upcoming film Casually Cool!-a project that also highlights her behind-the-scenes contributions, as she catered the chili featured in the scene.

Several of her improvised questions were incorporated into the final cut, reflecting her ability to think quickly and contribute creatively on set. Beyond acting, Pope is an entrepreneur deeply rooted in the Northern Kentucky creative and small-business community. In addition to recently catering for film productions, she bartends at the locally owned restaurant Smoke Justis and sells original paintings and handcrafted goods. She is also the founder and administrator of the Northern Kentucky Community Support Facebook group and its parent page, platforms dedicated to amplifying local artists, businesses, indie filmmakers, and community initiatives.
Her leadership extends into large-scale fund raising and community response efforts. In 2020, while serving as Vice President of the Simon Kenton High School Wrestling Boosters, Pope raised more money with lower overhead than any previous or subsequent leadership-bringing in over $10,000 from a single golf outing during the height of COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing challenges. In July 2024, she collaborated with TJ Dalton and Weather or Knot to organize a fundraiser for the victims of the Fourth of July weekend mass shooting. Through raffles and donations, the effort raised over $24,000 to support the families of the four victims who lost their lives and to provide continued counseling for survivors.
In 2025, following the loss of both of her parents, Pope openly shared her grief journey and organized a community fundraiser in honor of her mother, Carol Turner. Through public advocacy and personal storytelling, she continues to raise awareness around grief, mental health, and the power of community connection.
Christina Nicole Pope is married to Denny Pope and resides near Covington, Kentucky. Whether on screen, on set, or within her community, she is known for her authenticity, resilience, and commitment to uplifting others through storytelling and service.
