Stela Furcovici

Stela Furcovici was a Romanian film and theater actress.She was born on January 17, 1954 in Turda, Romania. In 1978, she became well-known for the role of Ecaterina Teodoroiu in the film of the same name, directed by Dinu Cocea..Other notable roles in films :Iancu Jianu, haiducul (1981),Iancu Jianu,zapciul(1980) .Play on the stage of the theater ''Teatru de Stat ''in Turda.Following the interpretations of the film roles she had, managed to get noticed by an American agent, who came to Europe in search of acting talent, but fate did not want it.On November 30, 2000, almost a month before she turned 47, the actress was involved in a traffic accident on one of the streets of Turda. She tried to cross the street, it seems that the scarf from her neck was caught by the rear-view mirror of a car, and she was knocked to the ground. The impact was harsh, Stela suffered a skull fracture and, on the way to the hospital, died in the ambulance.
