Dori Milly Grace is an American actress best known for vertical short films such as "I'm Pregnant, Let's Break Up" and "Falling for You," and for the feature film JFK, Jr. Dori was born in Lancaster, PA, between two Amish farms. Dori began singing professionally at local music festivals at the age of 3, and spent her 20s being the frontwoman of a rock band in Red Lion and York. PA. Dori is self-taught in guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and the xylophone and has a strong musical theatre background. During her teenage years, she worked with director Barry Kornhauser at the renowned Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, PA, and performed at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.
After a long break, Dori returned to the theatre in 2024, acting in off-Broadway plays in Hell's Kitchen, NYC, and garnering a Best Actor and Best Play nomination for a summer 2024 play festival at the NuBox Theatre. After getting her feet wet with bit parts in student films, Dori became a regular day player on vertical mini-dramas, such as those found on ReelShort, DramaWave, and NetShort. She is also filming JFK Jr., an upcoming feature, and played the supporting lead role of Sam in the upcoming feature, What We Carry With Us. Dori also appeared as a background dancer in David Byrne's 2025 video, "Everybody Laughs," and has also written sketches for black box theatre. She has also appeared in several cabarets in the Theater District and has walked the runway in New York Fashion Week twice.
Dori attended both Yale University and Southern Connecticut State University, majoring in cognitive neuroscience. She also attended UniversitƤt Mannheim in Mannheim, Germany, to become fluent in the German language. She is a member of the Golden Key National Honour Society, Psi Chi (psychology honor society), and Phi Alpha Theta (history).
Dori is a marketing professional in Manhattan who, in her spare time, volunteers on the front lines in impoverished communities in NYC and is a fierce autism advocate, as her son was diagnosed at age 2.
