Biography

Director, Creative Producer and multi-disciplinary Artist from Montréal, Nathaniël has been directing and producing Films, Videos and TV projects for over 27 years. From his Films which traveled through Festivals (Willie in the Sky (2020), Exode (2011), Dans le Passage(2005)) to other artistic productions (Music Videos, Video-choreographic Installations, Musicals), he worked on various types of productions behind, in front of the camera and on stage (Cirque du Soleil), known for bringing impactful Visual propositions, emotional performances and an organic flow of work.

Nathaniël originated and performed Ze Cameraman in IRIS, the Cirque du Soleil production on the stage of the Oscars in Los Angeles, for which he created video segments and executed them live as a an active character. As an actor, Nathaniël embodied characters of strong presence on screen (Fatal, Showstopper, La Guerre des clans) and in front of live audiences (Mike in A Chorus Line, Bernardo in West Side Story). He has performed in and choreographed for big events (Opéra de Montréal, Divers/Cité), Musical Theater Productions (West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Little Shop of Horror), variety shows, cabaret numbers and television programs, including Le Match des Étoiles, the Canadian version of Dancing with the Stars.

A graduate of Ladmmi in Montréal, Nathaniël has collaborate with contemporary dance companies (Marie Chouinard, Jean-Pierre Perreault, PPS Dance, Kinesis Dance, Move The Company) and in various dance films (chor.: Hélène Blackburn, Estelle Clareton).

In parallel with Nath Creation, the production company he founded in 2016, Nathaniël is developing films and videochoreographic projects as well as teaching fellow filmmakers and actors.
