Mert Baykal

Baykal graduated from George Mason University's Faculty of Communications in media production. He joined Plato Film as an intern. After working in various departments, including production and set production, he began working as an assistant to director Sinan Çetin. He worked as an assistant director on dozens of commercials and feature films, including for Turkcell, Arcelik, Garanti Bank, and Hazirkart. In 2004, he made his feature film debut with Pardon (2005).
