Karen Somers is a working filmmaker and production company founder that loves telling inspiring, cinematic stories. She directs, produces and shoots documentary specials and series, meaningful branded content and commercials for Hollywood studios (Disney, Universal, Netflix, Amazon), broadcasters (ABC, NBC, Showtime, FX, PBS, CW) social impact organizations and Fortune 500 companies. Karen Somers also enjoys representing peers in the industry, serving as co-chair of the education committee for the Producer's Guild, a bylaws committee member for the Television Academy and is a member of the International Cinematographer's Union. Karen Somers is a U.S. citizen with additional passports for Canada and the U.K. that allow her to work internationally.
