Della Haddock is an award-winning writer, story editor, producer, and comedian who has performed at Just For Laughs Vancouver, the Vancouver Improv Festival, and the Vancouver Fringe Festival. She is a member of the improv troupe 'Hot Snack', an alumni House Team performer at Blind Tiger Comedy, and has also studied at Bad Dog Comedy and Second City Toronto. Her script, 'Half of Everything', won the best feature screenplay award at GEMFest 2024 (previously 'VIWFF') and her character-based short film, 'Time Influencer', which she wrote, directed, edited, and starred in, was a finalist in the Vancouver Quarantine Performance Project (2020), earning her a 'Best Performance' nomination. Della has been a CMPA Diverse Producers mentee, a Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative fellow, one of six screenwriters selected to participate in the 2022 Whistler Film Festival Screenwriters Lab, and has been on the programming committee of the Vancouver Short Film Festival. She is a resident of the 2024 CFC Comedy Series Story Room Intensive under showrunner Anthony Farrell. She was recently a Jr. Story Editor on a dramatic series in development with the CBC.
