Sarah Felberbaum was born on March 20, 1980 in London, England as Sarah Frances Rose Felberbaum. Her mother, Paulyne Day, is British, while her father, Harvey Felberbaum, is American. She has an older sister, Anna, and a brother, Michael. When Sarah was little, her family moved to Rome, Italy.
She began her career as a model at the age of 15 and was also seen in advertising campaigns for Braun, Pasta Divella, Ferrarelle, Kinder Ferrero, Philips, TIM , Polo, among others. Sarah also starred in various music videos and hosted
Top of the Pops Italia (2000), the Italian version of the iconic British TV program. In 2001, she made her acting debut in the sitcom
Via Zanardi, 33 (2001). Her feature film debut was
Cardiofitness (2007), a comedy directed by
Fabio Tagliavia. Felberbaum's portrayal of Laura Aliprandi, in the movie
The Jewel (2011), earned her a David di Donatello nomination for Best Actress.
At the age of 24, Sarah published her first novel, Baby Vogue, and won the Cortina prize, a prestigious Italian literary award.
She has been married to
Daniele De Rossi since December 25, 2015. They have two children.
