Yûko Ogura

The Chiba, Japan-born Ogura Yuko is a Japanese actress, voice actor, radio personality, television hostess, product spokeswoman, former gravure Idol and model. She was born in Mobara, central Chiba Prefecture and began working in the entertainment industry at age eighteen in 2001. Between 2001 and 2010 she released 69 DVDs. She acted in serials and movies. Her trademark soon became the cute voice and colourful character. This was probably superseded by her announcement that she is a princess, called Apple-Momoka ('Ringo-Momoka), from the apple-shaped planet Korin and that she arrived on earth on a strawberry shaped chariot about which she ceased discussion in 2009. This nonetheless had become the subject of a 'travelogue' earlier. She also wrote a book on the economics of all-you-can-eat meat restaurants. She declared she was the owner of a yakiniku meat restaurant out of Osaka in 2008. She denied ownership, however, in 2010 amidst a court case and instead insisted she was merely a commercial endorser of the same. She contributed an article on the stock market to a magazine called Diamond ZAi. She contributed the ending theme to the School Rumble anime. She released five singles from 2002 to 2008. She issued two full-length albums. Her advertisements have included banks, department stores and beverages. She has her own iPhone app. She made a point of attending cooking school with Aki Hoshino. She left gravure adult modelling in 2011. At age 27, She married Kikuchi Isao on October 7th, 2011, in Hawaii. He is a hairdresser. She issued a Ogura Yuko No Happy Wedding photo book subsequently, which was one of her twenty nine odd photo collections. She gave birth to a son on June 5th, 2012. Another son came in November of 2016. Then emerged reports of the husband's affair with another celebrity, Umakoshi Sachiko, from the agency (Platinum Production) which also managed Ogura. Prior to her marriage she had been managed by Avilla agency. The divorce came on the 3rd of March 2017. She is a dog owner. Her hobbies are video games, cooking, about which she has published books, and baking and eating bread. She has a 'bread advisor' certificate.
