Adam Shapiro

Adam Shapiro is a versatile actor whose career spans film, television, and the stage. A graduate of the University of Maryland's School of Theatre, he is also a co-founder of Los Angeles' acclaimed IAMA Theatre Company. On screen, Shapiro is recognized for his recurring role as Mr. Shapiro in Netflix's hit series Never Have I Ever, as well as his turn as Chef Adam Shapiro in FX's Emmy-winning The Bear. His film work includes roles in Mank, Steve Jobs, Now You See Me, She Said. Noteable TV credits include: The Continental: From The World of John Wick, Scandal, Sense 8, Grey's Anatomy, The Lincoln Lawyer, The Affair, and Kingdom. On Broadway, he played the role of Ogie in Waitress. Other theatre credits include: original casts of Leslye Headland's Assistance, Bachelorette, and The Accidental Blonde. As well as the Ovation Award winning productions of IAMA Theatre's Canyon and The Recommendation, and Matt Fogel's Hey, Morgan! In addition to his acting career, Shapiro is the founder of Shappy Pretzel Co., a Los Angeles-based bakery inspired by his Philadelphia roots.
