Ishaan Khatter

Ishaan Khatter is an acclaimed Indian actor and dancer known for his versatility and globally resonant performances. His most recent release, 'Homebound', premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. It received a nine-minute standing ovation and the highest viewer rating among the year's selections by UGC. The film was subsequently selected for the Gala Presentations at the Toronto International Film Festival. It received critical acclaim with Elizabeth Kerr of Screen International calling it "deeply empathetic" and praising Ishaan's performance as "affecting and powerful."

Ishaan also starred in 'Pippa' (2023), a war drama that premiered worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in November 2023. He appeared in his international breakout role as one of the leads in Netflix's limited series 'The Perfect Couple', opposite Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, and Dakota Fanning among others.

Ishaan gained critical acclaim for his lead role in Mira Nair's BBC limited series 'A Suitable Boy', where his nuanced performance received widespread praise. His debut came under the direction of renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi in 'Beyond The Clouds' (2017), for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

His first Bollywood commercial success was 'Dhadak' (2018), which earned him the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year - Male. He later led the 2022 Hindi action film 'Khaali Peeli'.

Ishaan resides in Mumbai, India but works globally and is fluent in multiple accents of English, Hindi and Urdu.
