Valentina Viso graduated in screenwriting from ECAM, Madrid. Her first feature film was 'Tres dies amb la família' (2009), co-written and directed by Mar Coll. The film was shot in Barcelona and the main cast included popular Spanish actor Eduard Fernández. The next year won the Gaudí Award for Best Film in Catalan Language. In 2016, Viso's short film 'La inquilina', also co-written and directed by Mar Coll, won the Best Screenplay award at the prestigious Alcalá de Henares Short Film Festival.
