Asseem Merchant

Aseem Merchant, born in Mumbai, India, is an Indian actor, writer and producer. Aseem was winner of the Gladrags supermodel title in the year 1996, and over the years evolved into a multifaceted celebrity in India, further establishing himself as a sought after actor in Bollywood.

Aseem Merchant made his debut as an Actor with the feature film 'Bullet-Ek Dhamaka' and then went on to feature in numerous blockbuster films like 'Wanted' alongside Salman Khan and further won accolades and praise for his stellar performance as the antagonist in 'The Train'. Amongst his other lineup of acting projects was the super hit evergreen music video 'Bin Tere Sanam' and another south blockbuster feature film 'Kandahar' in the year 2010, alongside Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan. Furthermore, Aseem featured as the romantic lead opposite Gracy Singh, in an artistic heart wrenching feature film 'Aseema' that was based on a best selling Oriya novel.

While acting in over 14 feature films and counting, Aseem Merchant has created an enviable fan base and position in the world of films and entertainment. He is known for his various successful business ventures including his production house Aseem Merchant Entertainment Pvt Ltd, one of India's most promising production houses, with an interesting line up ahead. Aseem has successfully written and produced the feature film 'TFTNW', co produced by Jio Studios, starring an ensemble cast of Bollywood actors and celebrities, which is set to release soon. Furthermore, Aseem is currently working on two exciting projects, 'DND', a pet based ROM com, heartwarming and an out of the box feature film for animal lovers of all ages. Additionally, 'History of Bollywood' A one man comedy act by Sajid Khan is another property developed, soon to be streamed on a leading OTT platform, along with a world tour of live shows kicking off in Dubai, June 2024.
