Mark Philipp Espina is an award winning TV commercial and film director that started his career in Sydney Australia and is currently based in Manila, Philippines.
He co-wrote and directed the film Siquijor Mystic Island in 2005 which was released by Viva Films, a major film production studio in Manila, back in 2007 to cinema theaters nationwide.
He has written, produced, directed and edited several short competition films including 'Behind Closed Doors' which won Best Short Screenplay in the Cinemalaya Film Festival, one of the most prestigious film festivals in the Philippines.
In 2017, his short documentary 'TAGO' won the position of 1st Runner Up in the Istorya ng Pag-Asa Film Festival.
Part of his repertoire includes directing several music videos and television commercials including 'Tarsier' which won in New York Advertising Awards.
