Angel Pai

Angel Pai was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in New York City from early childhood. Having lived in seven countries, she brings global perspective and cultural fluency to her work across film, media, and public leadership.

She has led on-camera cultural and entertainment programming across major platforms, including MTV Iggy and the Travel Channel. She later served as host of NYC Vibe, a cultural segment that aired on PBS All Arts and was distributed across New York City’s taxi media network. The series explored the human narratives behind major cultural and philanthropic events, foregrounding the missions, communities, and leadership driving impact.

As a producer, writer, and creative lead, she is the founder of RealmWalker Films, where she develops narrative and documentary projects centered on story as a catalyst for awareness, resilience, and collective understanding. Her work moves between intimate character-driven storytelling and global themes that examine identity, perspective, and shared human experience.

Angel is a public speaker and humanitarian leader whose work has spanned years of engagement at the United Nations and beyond. She has served for multiple years as Master of Ceremonies and panel moderator at the United Nations General Assembly in partnership with the PVBLIC Foundation, guiding high-level dialogue among diplomats, global foundations, innovators, and cultural leaders on resilience, equity, sustainable development, and cross-sector collaboration. Her continued advocacy extends across UN-aligned foundations and global initiatives advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through media, storytelling, and public leadership, she supports mission-driven institutions working at the intersection of women’s empowerment, education access, ending gender-based violence, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Her performance in the short film Fish Stew earned international festival recognition, including a Best Actress award. The film was selected at multiple international festivals, including the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival.

Angel is a multidisciplinary artist recognized for her work as both a painter and a sculptor. She began exhibiting oil paintings at age nine and received early recognition through a young artist showcase associated with the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She attended the prestigious Stuyvesant High School, where she pursued an advanced academic track with a focus on medicine before ultimately transitioning into film and television. Her artistic practice evolved into metalwork and crystal-based sculptural forms through her atelier, ILLUMIN by Angel Pai, where she creates one-of-a-kind works informed by the philosophies of wabi-sabi and kintsugi, honoring fracture as a form of transformation rather than concealment. Her work has been presented at the United Nations General Assembly, and she has received an invitation to exhibit at the Museo di Mineralogia, Sapienza Università di Roma.

Throughout her teenage years, she trained in Taekwondo under the president of the World Taekwondo Federation, earning eight national gold medals. She is also trained in fencing and archery.

As a fashion model, she has appeared in major publications including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She placed in the top four in the Miss Asia pageant and was crowned Miss Fitness. A longtime muse of designer Malan Breton, she has appeared in his runway collections since the inception of his brand.
