LazRael Lison is an award-winning DGA director and writer with 10 feature films to his credit. His most recent run includes five studio-backed features released with A&E Network/Lifetime and Paramount Global/BET, with expanded streaming availability via Hulu. His work also includes releases on Netflix and Amazon, with distribution through Grindstone and Gravitas. He is the co-founder of Summer House Pictures, a Los Angeles-based production company focused on elevated, commercial, audience-forward storytelling. He is also the published author of Neighborhood of Dreams.
Lison began writing and directing plays and short films in junior high school, before attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, followed by relocating to Los Angeles.
Lison leads the paramount team of imaginative and business savvy film professionals. His passion for writing, directing, and producing exceptional film projects has established him as an emerging creative leader in this film industry.
