Mary Alice Mulroney, known professionally as Mair Mulroney, is an award-winning American actress, comedian, screenwriter, producer and musician.
Born in Washington, D.C. to Mary Patricia Denney and Thomas Joseph Mulroney, she is of Irish, English, German, Dutch, and Czechoslovakian descent. Mair grew up in the D.C. suburb of Vienna, Virginia where she attended James Madison High School and Randolph Macon Military Academy in Front Royal, Virginia before being sent to a scared-straight wilderness program in the Appalachian Mountains and eventually completing her high school education via online homeschooling through the University of Nebraska.
At 19, Mair signed her first distribution deal with ADA/Warner Music Group. Just two days before her debut single's release, she was diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer, forcing her to cancel her first promotional tour and undergo treatment. After her recovery, she continued her music career with Fontana/Universal Music Group (later Ingrooves Music Group), releasing multiple projects over the following years and solidifying her reputation as a dynamic singer-songwriter.In 2015, Mair relocated to Los Angeles, California to further her career in entertainment. During a recording session, a commercial and theatrical talent manager told her that she had a good face and could make a lot of money if she could act. He quickly signed her to a local agency.Since then, she has appeared in campaigns for major brands including Hallmark, Apple, Microsoft, AT&T, LG, Tostinos, J.W. Dhar Mann (2018), which became an international online phenomenon in 2020 and beyond. Over the course of 65 episodes, she helped the series reach tens of billions of views across YouTube and other social platforms.
Following her tenure with the studio, Mair and several fellow cast members- including
Colin A. Borden and
Rachel Christianson launched
Good Werks (2023), a light-hearted ensemble comedy about six unlikely characters brought together through community service. Mair co-produces the series and stars as Sister Cerridwen, an Irish nun with a secret.
In 2024, Mair co-founded EVR FWD Productions, LLC with actor, filmmaker and partner Tyler Tackett. Together, they built a production studio in Chatsworth, California, where they co-host and film The EVR FWD Podcast, produce original comedy sketches for the EVR FWD YouTube channel, and develop feature and series concepts under the EVR FWD banner.
