Bridie Latona is a multi-award-winning actress and filmmaker passionate about emotionally rich, visually poetic stories that explore compassion, healing, and our connection to animals and nature. Born in the Nightcap Rainforest in the Byron Bay hinterland, Australia, Bridie has lived half her life in London, England, and Los Angeles, California. She is of Irish, English, Italian, French, and Scandinavian descent, and holds dual Australian and Italian citizenship.
Bridie trained extensively in acting, earning a BA (Acting) from (QUT) and studying at the New York Actors Studio under Elizabeth Kemp. She has been recognized for her performances with Best Actress awards at London's Rob Knox Film Festival and the Warner Bros. New Filmmakers Awards. Bridie wrote, directed, and starred in Edge of the Earth (Toronto Lift-Off, Byron Bay IFF, Three Fires IFF), and co-wrote and starred in A Brunette Kiss (End of the Pier Festival, UK). She often appears as the romantic lead in fantasy, period dramas, and romantic comedies.
