Biography

Alejandra García is a chilean producer with a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Los Andes. She was part of the production team for "La Buena Vida" (2008, Goya 2009, Best Ibero-American Film); "Violeta se fue a los cielos" (2011, Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2012); and producer of "Araña" (2019, TIFF 2019), all directed by Andrés Wood. She was also executive producer of the series "Ecos del Desierto" (2013) for Chilevisión and Turner, and provided production services in Chile for the feature film "The Tree of Life" directed by Terrence Malick (2012). Additionally, she has worked on various advertising content for Chile and Latin America (web series, short films) and over 200 commercials. She produced the films "La Vaca que Cantó una Canción al Futuro" (2021), directed by Francisca Alegría (Sundance FF, 2022, World Dramatic Competition), and "1976" (2021), directed by Manuela Martelli (Cannes FF, 2022 Directors' Fortnight).
