Hailing from Chicago, IL, Emmanuel Manzanares was introduced to the world of stunts & martial arts action filmmaking at an early age through his family's movie nights as a young child.
While obtaining a B.A. at the University of IL-Chicago for Stage Direction and Set Design, Emmanuel was also learning to make his own short films, action scenes, and diving into the YouTube indie filmmaking world since 2005. This work ethic led him to an invitation by director & stunt coordinator Chad Stahelski in 2012 to work with & learn from the 87Eleven action design company in Los Angeles.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013 and back to Chicago during Covid, Emmanuel now works on film and television productions as a SAG-AFTRA stunt & fight coordinator, fight choreographer, and action designer all around the world.
Emmanuel is also a member and head of LBP Stunts Chicago, a local Midwest stunt team specializing in action design, fight choreography, and action coordination. The team members have branched out nationwide and have also worked on a variety of high-profile feature film and television productions worldwide since the group's inception in 2006.
