Peter Gleick is a scientist tackling global climate and water issues. He is co-founder and president-emeritus of the Pacific Institute in Oakland, California, and has appeared on a wide range of environmental documentaries, including Rotten: Troubled Waters (2019), Last Call at the Oasis (2011), Earth 2100 (2009), Running Dry (2005), Grand Canyon Adventure (2008), and Pumped Dry: The Global Depletion of Groundwater (2016). He is a MacArthur Fellow and member of the US National Academy of Sciences.
