Sushil Rajpal is an FTII, Pune, Cinematography Diploma holder. He has been an ad film cinematographer, working with the best directors in Mumbai, since his graduation.
Having lived in Bihar, Jharkhand, Gorakhpur, Delhi and Mumbai, Sushil has always had a strong sense of the authentic story-telling from the grassroots of North India.
He applied this, taking from the real life experiences of his close friend, and wrote and directed ANTARDWAND, which went on to win the National Award in 2008.
Sushil has been developing various ideas, along with shooting ads, short films and features.
He will be directing his second feature film in 2024.
