Retired from being an Insurance Adjuster, Nightclub Manager and Corporate Logistics Supervisor Michael began to pursue a dream in 2006. He quit his career at the time and attended Toronto's infamous Second City Theatre, where he immersed himself in the world of improvised stage performance and writing for the stage and screen. It is here that he adapted the pioneering fundamentals of what is required in front of a camera and on stage. Graduating in 2008, he has been constantly working in Film and Television ever since.
A motivated and talented Actor with a very strong presence, keen instincts and formal training. A perfectionist by nature, the results are that of a perpetually committed and daring researcher of the Human Spectrum. In the field he has learned from the best, having performed alongside many renowned figures in Film and Television, and has collaborated with many of Toronto's top talents on stage. Incredibly versatile and uniquely developed, Michael Giel inherits every opportunity with rabid enthusiasm.
