Cherish Chen is a Chinese American writer in Los Angeles. A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, she got her start in the film industry as a producer, first working in film marketing with every major studio before making her way to the digital space. At the production company RocketJump, Cherish co-created and produced The RocketJump Film School, an online platform dedicated to making filmmaking knowledge accessible to all. With millions of views and a global audience, the project became a beacon for aspiring filmmakers everywhere.
After years in production, Cherish returned to her roots in writing, releasing the acclaimed comics miniseries Radiant Red through Image Comics in 2022. Her knack for crafting compelling narratives led her to co-write the story for the SXSW 2024 Audience Award Winner My Dead Friend Zoe.
