From the age of five years old Dianne knew that all she ever wanted to do in life was act! She could feel it in her bones, spirit and soul. "Like when you meet the person of your dreams for the first time and you just know they are the only one for you"! Quote Dianne Dennis

She watched every Shirley Temple movie in the world and used to pretend it was her on the big screen not Shirley. When Dianne turned six years old she put together a pillowcase full of clothes and tied it to a stick she found in the backyard. She sat on the front porch of her family's house in Toronto contemplating how she was going to get to Hollywood. Then her Mother came out and dragged her back in the house. "She told me there were too many actresses in the world and that when I grow up I better choose another profession"! "She said I would starve to death"! Quote Dianne Dennis She pictured herself on Hollywood Blvd sprawled out on the pavement wasting away!

Unfortunately what Dianne's Mother told her stuck in her mind for the next several years! She married her high school sweetheart, (too young) and for several years worked at different jobs and even received a three year Public Relations Diploma from Durham University in Oshawa Ontario! Dianne opened her own business and was still trying to fill the void she knew could only be filled if she finally persued a career in Acting.
