Maanvi Gagroo is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films and web series.
Gagroo completed her schooling at the Mother's International School in New Delhi. She then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Gargi College, Delhi University. After graduation, she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
Gagroo made her acting debut in 2009 with the television series
Dhoom Machaao Dhoom (2007) on Disney Channel India.
Gagroo went on to play minor roles in several hit Bollywood films. She co-starred with
Rani Mukerji and
Vidya Balan in the thriller
No One Killed Jessica (2011). In 2014, Gagroo played the role of Mitu in the award-winning film
PK (2014) alongside
Aamir Khan,
Anushka Sharma, and the late
Sushant Singh Rajput. She also starred in
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020) with
Ayushmann Khurrana.
Gagroo has also played lead roles in the TV show
The Good Vibes (2018) and the short film,
Tamashree Dates a Tomato (2018).
However, Gagroo gained widespread recognition for her role as Sidhi Patel in the Amazon Prime Video series
Four More Shots Please (2019), which revolves around four women living in Mumbai. She received critical acclaim for her performance in the series and was nominated for the Best Actress - Comedy Series Category in the Filmfare OTT Awards. She was praised for portraying a young, independent woman who navigates the challenges of modern-day relationships and career aspirations.
Gagroo married the actor and comedian
Kumar Varun on February 23 2023.
