Eduardo Canto is a director, producer, and screenwriter with professional experience in the audiovisual industry dating back to (2001). Co-founder of Onírica Films in (2012) alongside actor Mauricio Ochmann, Canto has developed fiction, documentary, and commercial projects with an authorial vision that integrates narrative, production, and mise-en-scène. His professional training spans film, television, and theater, establishing a versatile and structurally sound creative profile.

In television, he developed and directed series such as Tejiendo el Espíritu and Sonidos del Barrio, as well as international projects for National Geographic and the Biography Channel, including Bajo los Escombros and Mi Historia de Fantasmas.

His filmography as a director includes the short films Buen Provecho as well as Lluvia Adentro and Un Durazno. As a producer, he worked on Onírica Films' first feature film, "Amigos hasta la muerte" (Friends 'til Death) (2023), a Mexico-Spain co-production that established the company’s international reach. In (2026), he released the short film "Diez Velitas" and began development on his directorial feature debut, "El General."
