Robin Rose Singer is a writer, director, and producer. She was an Academy Nicholl Finalist for her script The Lions of Mesopotamia and honored on the Wscripted inaugural Cannes list of 25 women screenwriters to watch, Blacklist Recommends, Tracking Board Recommends, and on the Hit List.
Singer wrote and directed (with Rabia Sultana) one of two shorts supported by Google in an initiative organized by the Producers Guild as part of the PGA Create Lab and Fellowship, which is also supporting the development of her thriller set in Panama, Mala Sangre (Bad Blood).
Recent projects include: 109 Billions Followers (starring J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda), Contempt (starring Reed Birney), Angelfish (debut for rapper Princess Nokia, TIFF Next Wave), "Interference" (NBC Universal Film Festival/BAM Cinematek); "Aphasia" (Tribeca Film Festival); Maturity (Winner, IFP Made in NY: Series Competition; 2x Telly Winner for Comedy and Music).
NY Stage and Film Screenwriting fellow. Singer is also known for directing and producing commercials. Member, Producers Guild of America.
