Critically acclaimed actress, Mi Kwan has been the female lead in 6 feature films shot around the globe which have been premiered in such festivals as Busan International 2015 and Palm Springs International 2016.
Her performance in
A Korean in Paris (2015) gained notice and introduced her to the international press, including Variety Magazine.
She made her directorial, producer, and scriptwriter debut with the award-winning short film
Red Karma (2018) and made Los Angeles her base of operations between 2017 and 2020, where she won the UP(st)ART "Artist of the Year" Award 2018 among a 1000+ artists. Mi Kwan also won 10 Acting Awards for her performance as an abused wife in
Noce de muguet (2023).
Jury member of several film festivals, she also works as a dubbing and voice-over actress.
Mi Kwan is French-born of Chinese descent and Madagascar-raised.
Besides acting, she's very involved into humanitarian associations and animal protection.
