Guillermo Barreira is a Spanish filmmaker based in New York. His work has earned multiples awards, nominations and special mentions. Has a degree in Media from Cardenal Herrera University CEU (Spain). Has a Masters degrees in Fine Arts by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). A year Specialization Film by New York Film Academy and currently is preparing for his Ph.D in Cinema Studies. He began his career in radio and television, directing commercials in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia. He has been Professor of Audiovisuals in Spain, and is a featured video artist at Ob Art Gallery in Barcelona, Spain.
