Amanda was raised in Salem, Oregon. Her father was a school teacher and her mother a real estate agent. She landed her first professional acting gig when she was nine in a production of Oliver. She started University studying Veterinary Medicine. However, her father took her to see the International Up With People show where she landed a spot and her spark for performing was reignited.
She furthered her performance training at A.C.T. in San Francisco and a three year intensive program at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Birmingham England. She returned to the states and relocated to New York performing in multiple stage productions including Off-Off Broadway. She returned to the West Coast and turned her focus to Film and Television. She wrote and produced the award winning short, IMPACT.
She is an Audiobook Narrator with more than 26 books on Audible. She strives in all of her work to educate and unify the World through sharing stories that promote community and understanding. She frequently plays strong, compassionate, artsy types with a hint of quirkiness.
