Stephanie Van Bruggen

Stephanie Van Bruggen is the head of production for all of Breakthrough's animated programs. Stephanie works with animated projects from the development stage and then directly oversees each production through to final completion and delivery. She works closely with broadcasters, co-producers, creators, creative teams, animation studios and Breakthrough executives.

Stephanie's tenure at the studio began over a decade ago when she line produced Breakthrough's first animated series Atomic Betty (2004), and then continued to grow with the award-winning studio as supervising producer. Prior to Breakthrough, she worked at studios such as Mainframe Entertainment (Rainmaker) and Nelvana Studios. She has over two decades of production experience, primarily focusing on animation, but with additional experience in both drama and factual programming. She's a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts.
