Will Mayo

Will Mayo is a Los Angeles-based editor and writer/director from rural Tennessee. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & Television Production in 2014. His work includes editing independent features, series, and shorts, which have screened at Sundance Film Festival, Venice Biennale, Berlinale, and other top-tier film festivals. He edited Grindr's Emmy-nominated venture into scripted series, Bridesman, as well as Marcy Learns Something New, a short he produced, which won Best Comedy of The Year at Vimeo. Two films he directed, First Night Out and As Beautiful Inside, became Vimeo Staff Picks. He's also an experienced sound editor, having worked on nationally broadcast commercials, indie features, and shorts which have screened at renowned festivals.
