Lewis Mercer

Lewis Mercer is a Canadian actor, singer/songwriter (Dirty Rock'n' Roll, Tank Top Woman, Dirty White Dress, King Henry III)and member of 'Vom', a Canadian recording Act (founded with fellow filmmaker/Actor Tony 'Tex' Watt). Mercer was born in Newfoundland, Canada. Lewis is also an inventor, turned actor/filmmaker. Mercer invented laser land-survey construction equipment & a background noise phone application, called VOM (Voice Over Mask); that plays a multitude of background noises, from a sender that deceives the listener on the other end of a call, of various background locations (much like the dubbed background noise of a movie). In the mid-2000's Mercer met Canadian underground filmmaker/actor: Tony Watt (Frankenpimp, Vixen Highway 2006, It Came From Uranus, Zombie Night 2, Reel Zombies), and eventually partnered up with Watt to create the annual Canadian Vomstock Music/Media Festival & eventually the motion picture; Acid Head: The Buzzard Nuts County Slaughter (2011).
