A Queens/Bronx native Joshua Rivera passion for acting ignited at the age of eight, when he became a member of "The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens". He is a graduate of "Talent Unlimited High School " & "The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute 2015". Joshua was the first recipient awarded, the Johnny Depp Scholarship at the institute. He is also two-time winner of "The First Run Film Festivals" Actor Award 2010 & 2014. Best known for his role as Rico in SXSW Grand Jury Award Winner "Gimme the Loot" by Adam Leon and in The Tribeca Film Festivals 2015, award-winning film "STOP" By Reinaldo Marcus Green. Joshua can also be seen on TBS, T.V. series, " The Last OG " as Alejandro.
In his spare time Joshua likes to contribute to his community by actively supporting causes for kids and help bring funds and awareness to the Foundations.
Joshua also enjoys writing and performing rap music with his peers. Joshua and Billy Conahan Known as the rap duo K.O.P. (Kings of The Planet) opened "The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival in 2013" for rappers Redman & EPMD. Joshua Rivera is a genuine talent who is dedicated to creating art that will help inspire and motivate others.
