Christie Campo's impressive youth soccer career (Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year, U-20 US National Pool) culminated in a scholarship to Duke University, which included awards such as NCAA Freshman All-American, 2-time Scholar All-American, and Captain for the Blue Devils. Following a brain surgery that forced Campo to relearn all motor functions including sitting up and walking (documented by ESPN and Sports Illustrated and garnering her the prestigious Wilma Rudolph Courage Award), Campo graduated from Duke, cume lade, with a love for the storytelling arts.
After starring in the absurdist drama Exit the King and studying Commedia dell'arte in Italy, Campo moved to Los Angeles, building up her skills as a storyteller behind the scenes, working as an editor, writer, model, producer, director, actor, interviewer and consultant for various productions as she built up her writing portfolio and helped bring in millions annually for low-income schools across California and the broader United States. Since early 2021, Campo has been tucked away on 300 acres of Georgia woodlands with her husband and daughter, experimenting with regenerative agriculture and Taoist chi practices sans the wonders of WIFI.
