Steve Brock is a multi-hyphenate storyteller based in Los Angeles: actor, director, screenwriter, singer-songwriter, and producer. With a career rooted in theatre and evolved through independent film, Steve creates emotionally honest work that lives at the intersection of trauma, memory, and transformation.
He first stepped into the spotlight playing Alfred P. Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and has since trained at institutions like Second City, Lifebook Acting Academy, and the Amy Lyndon Studio. Steve went on to create a series of heartfelt short films, including Even Steve, Making Amends, and the psychological thriller Echoes of Kerberos, which earned over 60 awards on the festival circuit.
As a filmmaker, Steve thrives in the indie space, working under his Fair Oaks Films banner to bring original stories to life. His current feature project, Blank Slate, explores identity fragmentation and systemic manipulation in a neo-noir psychological drama format.
Parallel to his film work, Steve is a lifelong musician. His albums Cry by the Light of the Moon and Infinity blend jazz, soul, and singer-songwriter influences. His ongoing musical release A Trip Around the Sun spans 20 original songs - each a reflection on love, growth, and vulnerability. He also directs his own music videos, including the tender and cinematic When Time Stood Still and Reasons.
Steve's performances are nuanced and often centered on characters searching for meaning in their brokenness. Whether in front of the camera or behind the pen, he believes storytelling is a bridge - one that connects us to ourselves and each other.
