Doug Simpson

Doug Simpson is an American actor from Alton, Illinois. He studied acting at Illinois State University, and from there was awarded a one-year fellowship at Chicago's prestigious Steppenwolf Theater. He spent several years in Chicago and New York working in experimental theater and co-founded Spring Theaterworks, a based company devoted to promoting new voices in theater. Doug has studied with Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, as well as Lesly Kahn and The Groundlings in Los Angeles. He now lives in LA, working primarily in TV and film.
