Jamie hails from Mississippi. Growing up, she studied classical piano. Jamie embraced the art of recording while working at Jimi Hendrix's legendary studio in NYC - Electric Lady. Her classical training and electronic pop sensibility gives her compositions a modern edge. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, she met her husband WAZ. They began making records together and composing for TV & FILM under the name Waz-Jackson.

Jamie also writes and produces pop music under the name Hot As Sun.
