Larry Dacosta was born in in the Portuguese Azores Islands and at the
age of 4 years old, He came with his family to the US. Growing up in
Taunton Mass Portuguese was a first language spoken at home but going
to school taught him how to speak and write English. At the age of 16,
Larry dropped out of school and started working in factory jobs and
other odd jobs and a few years later decided to go back and get his
GED. Many years later, inspired by his niece Tania, who being an
accomplished actress in theater, decided to give acting a try and
started working as a back round extra in such films as The Fighter,
Grown Ups and as a featured extra in the movie The Mulberry Tree, and
playing a Citizenship student in the Kevin James comedy Here Comes the
Boom, with has led to some speaking roles in some Indy films such as
Legless, DJ Stan the Man and Scrooge in the Hood.
