After making his mark in the world of communication as the founder of the agency Les Évadés, Benoit Lach has enjoyed a successful career as a screenwriter, director, and producer since 2010 with his production company, Blachfilms. His work has earned numerous international awards in recent years, including Best Short Film at the San Diego International Film Festival, the Grand Prize for Best Comedy Short at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, and seven Gémeaux Awards (the Canadian equivalent of the Emmy) for his work on 422, Off, Fluffy Marky, and No More Parents. Two of his series, 422 and Fluffy Marky, were broadcast on Canal+ in France. More recently, his series Distinct Society was officially selected for the prestigious Série Mania Festival in the Panorama International category.
He also played a key role as a co-writer on both seasons of the acclaimed series Après le déluge on Crave.
