Yami Gautam is an Indian film actress who was born on 28th November 1988 in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, India. She has predominantly worked in Hindi films while briefly working in Kannada, Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil films. Yami is considered to be 'One of the Most Versatile Actresses in Bollywood'.
Starting her journey of acting and stardom with
Vicky Donor (2012), Yami Gautam became the talk of the industry by proving her acting mettle in her first outing itself. Yami won the 'Best Female Debut', 'Star Debut of the Year - Female', and 'Best Entertaining Female Debut' at Zee Cine Awards, IIFA Awards, and Big Star Entertainment Awards respectively for her Bollywood Debut, Vicky Donor in 2012 and 2013.
