Kara Hayward is an American actress recognized as one of Varietyās "10 Actors to Watch" in 2016, highlighting her as a rising talent in the film industry. She is best known for her breakout performance as Suzy Bishop in Moonrise Kingdom (2012), directed by Wes Anderson. Making her feature film debut with no prior acting experience, Haywardās performance earned critical acclaim and a nomination for Criticās Choice Award for Best Young Actor/Actress in 2013.
Following her debut, Hayward continued to build a diverse body of work across film and television. She starred as Emily Parris in The Sisterhood of Night (2014), and appeared in independent films such as Quitters and Fan Girl.
