Pamela Jones

Pamela loves supporting actors through her company L.A. Jones Talent Management. Born in Oakville, Ontario but now based in Vancouver, BC, she holds a B.A. in Theater from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and an Honors Degree in Broadcasting from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).

Her experience as a producer, an actress in independent films, television projects and commercials, her voice work for clients around the globe and her award-winning screenwriting, gives her experience on both sides of the camera and microphone.

Pamela has worked as a producer's assistant, as a talent scout and a voice casting director and has been recognized for her screenwriting abilities, placing in the "Top 10" in the Cannes Screenwriting Contest, the "Top 25" in the Page International Screenwriting Awards and making the prestigious Red List. She has also co-produced three projects for CBC Gem and served as writer and voiceover announcer for Knowledge Network for 13 years.

With her experience on stage, in the studio and behind the scenes, Pamela has an eye (and an ear) for talent. She scouts everywhere! She once discovered a voice talent in a washroom during a workshop. The woman had never stepped behind a mic before, but with Pamela's support, went on to co-star in a popular animated series for Hulu. Her greatest joy is helping to shape the careers of motivated and passionate actors and making the call to tell them, "you booked it!"

When Pamela is not cheering on her ultra-talented roster, you'll find her in her garden at her trailer in the woods or sailing off the shores of Vancouver - her Bluetooth headset always on... under her rain gear!
