Jarid Root is a actor/singer/songwriter/filmmaker based in Santa Clarita, California. Jarid is a part-time film student at College of the Canyons. He has guest-starred in shows such as Criminal Minds, The Fosters and Cartoon Network's Uncle Grandpa. Jarid has been writing music and making music videos since the age of 11 and enjoys working on independent projects of his own. Despite only having started submitting to festivals this year, Jarid has already won a Bronze Medal at the Global Music Awards for his original song and music video "I'm Alone". He has also written and directed previous music videos, which can be found on his YouTube channel.
