Biography

Canadian actor, Zachary Gulka discovered his love for acting at a very early age. While born in Saskatchewan, he and his family moved around quite frequently. It was during his time in Alberta where he immersed himself in the world of theatre, and began to take his love for the performing arts a little more seriously. Zachary attended Theatre Alberta, and joined a local theatre company in Calgary where he spent two consecutive years playing large roles in major productions.

In 2010, Zachary graduated High School and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to pursue a career in Film and Television. During this time, he split his training between both Vancouver and Los Angeles. His breakout role was in the critically acclaimed hit Television Series, "Supernatural" on The CW, in which he was nominated for "Best Emerging Performer" at the UBCP/ACTRA Awards in 2015 in Vancouver. His character Mickey, the sarcastic Gas n' Sip clerk who played alongside Jared Padalecki, was immediately pegged as a cult favorite among fans.

Zachary can now be seen in Film and Television roles such as, "The Flash" and "Frequency" on The CW. He played Arthur Wilde, the neurotic sidekick to Chirs Klein in, "Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls" for Universal Pictures. The sequel to the hit comedy original, "The Benchwarmers" by Adam Sandler's production company Happy Madison. He was later cast in the recurring role of Jesse in three episodes of Netflix's, "Ghost Wars" where he played the edgy small-town bully and shared the screen alongside Avan Jogia, and fellow Canadian and Saskatchewan-born actor Kim Coates.

At this time, Zachary resides in Vancouver. He works also as a writer, and a voiceover actor in the film industry. He starred in and produced, "I Dare You" alongside fellow actor and friend Harrison Houde. "I Dare You" was chosen by Telefilm Canada to represent Canada and screen at the 69th Annual Festival de Cannes, France. Their second film titled, "Vinny's Girl" which Zachary himself wrote, also received a fair amount of success for its writing and cinematography. Zachary continues to audition and work for the screen, as well as writing his own projects in which he plans to produce.
