Biography

Cory DeMeyers is an Emmy-Winning Stunt Coordinator, with more than 16 years of industry experience. His passion for storytelling and attention to detail makes him an asset to every production he is a part of.

Most recently, Cory served as the Supervising Stunt Coordinator for Seasons 3-4 (2022-2024) of HBO’s hit show, The Righteous Gemstones, starring John Goodman and Danny McBride, for which he received his first Emmy Win for Outstanding Stunt Coordination (2025). He also Stunt Coordinated Netflix’s Rebel Ridge (2024) for which he won the Vulture Stunt Award for Best Shootout and the 2025 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Stunt Ensemble.

He is also the Stunt Coordinator for David Gordon Green’s feature Nutcrackers, starring Ben Stiller which Opened the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. Cory also Co-Stunt Coordinated Halloween Ends (2022) and Fight Coordinated Netflix's Project Power (2020), from Directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

In addition to being a Stunt Coordinator, Cory has served as a Stunt Performer on many well-known Hollywood productions including James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire & Ash ; Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu’s The Revenant; and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, for which he won a Taurus World Stunt Award for Best High Work.

Stepping out into the world of narrative filmmaking, Cory recently directed the short film, Danny Boy (2021), which played in eight countries, with 24 official film festival selections, including Hollyshorts, Idyllwild, the Bushwick Film Festival and Scotland International Festival of Cinema. The short earned 24 nominations and six wins. His latest film G(L)ORY DAYS (2026), a Horror-Comedy, Written by Adam Pasen & Sammy Horowitz has just been completed and is looking to take the Genre Fests by storm. He is also an Executive Producer of the upcoming short film Blue Evening directed by Jett Jansen and starring WWE wrestler Karrion Kross.

Cory is a member of the PGA and currently serves as Vice-President of the International Stunt Association. Outside of his work in film and TV, Cory is a proud Red Bull Freerunning World Champion and lifelong Martial Artist.
