Chris Mitchell

Chris is a classically trained composer based near London, UK, with numerous concert hall, stage and screen credits. He has a rich musical heritage drawn from cultures including Latvia and Norway as well as classical symphonist, Robert Simpson. "Ruckus" (composer) achieved a BFI Future Film Award and a BAFTA nomination (long list). "The Carmelite Blessing" was commissioned for the international celebration of Teresa 500 and given its first performance in Kensington. He has a range of credits for the BBC including conducting, arranging and performing. He is currently working on a slate of new film/TV projects with up-and-coming British director, Ben Wicks, and runs his own production facility, Clear Sky Studio.
