Gavin is a British director of photography with a long list of credits across both factual and narrative Film & Television. His background in documentaries has seen him work on dozens of programmes over the last decade covering a varied range of topics. In turn, these have gained a raft of awards and nominations from BAFTA Scotland, The Royal Television Society, Celtic Media and Grierson Awards. His narrative work has been shown at film festivals across Europe and America, and the recent BBC series Dog Days (2023) won Best Drama at the 2024 RTS Scotland awards.
In both 2021 & 2022 RTS Scotland also recognised Gavin's camerawork with two successive craft nominations.
