Andy studied business and communication in Sogang University. At
IMpictures (2001~2004) and Fineworks (2004~2008), he worked for the
mega hit [My Sassy Girl](2001), critically acclaimed [The Big
Swindle](2004), and produced [Ma-eum-i...](2006), and [Two Faces of My
Girlfriend](2007). In 2008, he started a contents-producing company,
MoonWatcher, and produced [Blind](2011) which was watched by 2,400,000 people
and won the Blue Dragon Award and the Grand Bell Award for Best Script
and Best Actress. In 2011, he was named 1 of 50 creative entertainers
by [Movie Week] magazine, and won the Korea's Contents Award by the
Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
In 2015, he remaked his movie [Blind] into a Korean-Chinese movie called [The Witness].
Also, he produced Korean-Chinese TV Tokusatsu called [Legend Hero] in the same year.
